How to Configure Outlook Express/Outlook for E-Mail
- In Outlook Express, click Tools then Accounts
- In
the Internet Accounts dialog box, click Add, and then click Mail.
- In
the Display Name box, type the name you want others to see when
you send a message, and then click Next.
- In the E-mail Address box,
type the e-mail address for the account you are using in this format
(case sensitive): {E-mail User name} @vipowernet.net, and then
click Next.
- Under E-mail Server Names, select POP3 incoming
mail server. The mail server names are:
Incoming mail: mail.vipowernet.net
Outgoing mail:
mail.vipowernet.net
- Enter your Account/User name (case sensitive)
in the Account name.
- Enter your Password (case sensitive) in the
Account Password box, and then click Next, then Finish.
- To edit
an existing mail account, highlight account and click on Properties
on the right hand side.
- You can now name the account what you would
like and edit any settings needed.
